This September marked an exciting moment at EURIP as we welcomed the newest cohorts of Master and PhD students and officially held the CIRP Workshop 2025. This event highlights the vibrant EURIP interdisciplinary community.

CIRP Workshop 2025

From September 15th to 19th, the Community, Interdisciplinary Reflections and Projects (CIRP) workshop brought together first-year FIRE PhD students and Master of AIRE M2 students at the Learning Planet Institute.

CIRP is more than a workshop—it’s a space for collegiality, dialogue, and co-creation. Students worked in small groups to design a project that addressed a planetary health challenge and presented a final product at the end of the week. Here, “project” is understood broadly: the focus is not only on the outcome, but on the collective process of inquiry, collaboration, and creativity. By engaging in this process, participants explored new ways of thinking, strengthened teamwork skills, and built lasting connections across disciplines.

The week also featured a Discovery Day at the Learning Planet Institute, MakerLab (FabLab) activities, team-building exercises, guided visits, and social gatherings—all designed to help students connect across disciplines and cultures.
