The EURIP Graduate School focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability and Planetary Health. Our master’s and doctoral programs offer advanced training in domain-specific knowledge and methodologies, as well as in soft skills such as critical thinking, ethics, creativity, communication and collaboration.
This comprehensive approach equips postgraduate students and early career researchers with the skills necessary to develop innovative research projects and build successful careers.
The program is grounded in open science principles, as well as collaborative, project-based, and challenge-based learning. This research-intensive training is enhanced by student-led events and personalised mentoring from faculty and experienced researchers. Students benefit from an environment where creators, entrepreneurs and scholars share their expertise and experience to help learners achieve their goals.
The Master of AIRE
The Master of AIRE is a 2-year interdisciplinary and research-based programme located at the Learning Planet Institute and accredited by Université Paris Cité. The program addresses global challenges related to Planetary Health and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students develop the skills needed to tackle complex issues such as climate change, public health, social equity, and lifelong quality education.
The master’s program includes internships (4-6 months in the first year and 9 months in the second year) in research labs, companies, or through developing personal projects, offering a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
The FIRE Doctoral School
The FIRE Doctoral School is an international PhD program accredited by Université Paris Cité and co-accredited by Université Paris Sciences et Lettres. It welcomes students passionate about contributing to Planetary Health and the SDGs through unconventional and interdisciplinary research projects that do not fit within traditional doctoral programs.
The school also offers a wide range of courses covering scientific, technical, transversal and behavioral aspects, empowering PhD students for their future careers in academia and beyond.
An International dimension
90% of our master’s students and 40% of our doctoral candidates are international. All courses are taught in English, further enhancing the program’s appeal by helping students acquire language skills that are valuable for their professional careers or future studies.
Overall, EURIP aims to equip and support students throughout their academic journey so they can become not only the best students in the world, but the best students for the world.
