A key feature of EURIP is its strong emphasis on training through and for research. Our academic programs dedicate 55% of total hours to research at the Master’s level and 300 hours of training at the Doctoral School level.
By integrating innovative learning methods, such as peer learning, project-based learning, research-based learning, tool prototyping, and co-construction of programs, the Master of AIRE and the FIRE Doctoral School foster student autonomy and strengthen their collaborative and critical thinking skills.
The pedagogical teams establish connections between the two programs through joint Master-PhD activities, facilitating the transition to a doctoral thesis for some students in the Master of AIRE program.
The FIRE Doctoral School is accredited across a wide range of sub-disciplines recognized by the European Research Council, spanning fields within Physical Sciences & Engineering, Life Sciences, and Social Sciences & Humanities. This extensive accreditation serves as a powerful lever for interdisciplinarity. The FIRE doctoral program is committed to promote, develop, and support unconventional interdisciplinary thesis projects.
The Master of AIRE allows students to master concepts and translate them into prototypes to support experimentation in innovative fields such as artificial intelligence and open health.
The Learning Planet Institute’s environment, equipped with videoconferencing systems, virtual reality facilities, and a fab lab, facilitates the development of individual and group projects focused on solving real-world challenges.
